Welcome to the Web QTH of The220MhzGuys of Chicago, Illinois.

We are a newly formed CLUB, comprised of Amateur Radio Operators from all
walks of life that enjoy the hobby of Amateur Radio. Some of us are members of
other Radio Clubs throughout the United States, some are not. If you enjoy using
the Radio you owe it to yourself to stop in and say HI! We are an informal group,
everyone has a voice. We make the Amateur Radio Hobby FUN!

Our Meeting will be held on the Third Friday of every month at 7:30PM
at The New Pindos Restaurant., located at 4955 S. Pulaski Road
(Corner of Pulaski Road and Archer Avenue) Chicago, Illinois 60632.)

Also we now have a Talk-in Frequency for Meetings and the Breakfast
gathering it is 223.450 Simplex. Odds are your 220 Mhz radio is already
programmed for this. Latest News on the 440 Machine of KA2DRQ.
The repeater is online with coverage around Midway Airport. Plans
are in the works to move it to higher ground for greater coverage.
Signon at 441.275 with a PL of 114.8 and a + Duplex.

The 220 Mhz Guys are forming a VE team. We are looking for members
to become a Volunteer Examiner and we are also looking for a location to
host the exams. If you would like to participate or now of a location
contact James Byrnes KA2DRQ.

The Club News Letter "The Good Guys Gazette" is inprocess of
published. Stay tuned for more information. If you have any information
or articles you would like to publish please forward them to James
Byrnes KC9SOG.

Thank you to Wally KC9SYX for putting together a list of potiential
Club Members. Its people like Wally and James that make our club a
fun club to be with. The President of The 220 Mhz Guys would like to
thank both of you for a great job you are both doing.

Our Next Meeting is Friday May 18th. Hope to see you there we will be
voting to fill the final Director postition.

We meet every Saturday Rain or Shine at The New Pindos Restaurant which is
located at 4955 S. Pulaski Road (Corner of Pulaski Road and Archer Avenue)
Chicago, Illinois 60632. We usually start to arrive at about 7:30 AM, and the
breakfast lasts until about 12 PM. The food is Excellent! Stop on in...
